AuWorkMate Pty Ltd (ABN: 12 345 678 901) operates a remote work recruitment platform that connects Australian professionals with remote employment opportunities. We facilitate introductions between job seekers and employers but are not an employer ourselves.
Important: AuWorkMate is a recruitment platform, not an employer. We connect job seekers with potential employers but do not guarantee employment outcomes.
3. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be legally authorized to work in Australia
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- Not be prohibited from using our services under Australian law
4. User Accounts and Registration

5. Services Provided

AuWorkMate provides:

- Professional profile creation and hosting
- Skills assessment and evaluation tools
- Introduction services to potential employers
- Career guidance and support resources
- Communication facilitation between candidates and employers
5.2 Service Packages
We offer different service tiers:
- Starter (Free): Basic profile and job search access
- Professional ($97): Enhanced features including skills assessments and AI matching
- Executive ($197): Premium services including personal career coaching
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Fees
Premium services require payment of applicable fees. All fees are:
- Quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD)
- Inclusive of GST where applicable
- Non-refundable except as required by Australian Consumer Law
- Subject to change with 30 days' notice
6.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed through secure third-party providers. We do not store your payment information on our servers.
6.3 Refunds
Refunds may be provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law or at our discretion for service failures.
7. User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information

- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or employers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated tools to scrape or collect data
- Share your account credentials with others

8. Employment Relationships

AuWorkMate facilitates connections between independent contractors and businesses. We are not party to any employment or contractor agreements that result from our introductions.
8.2 No Employment Guarantees
We do not guarantee:
- Employment outcomes or job offers
- Specific salary levels or benefits
- The suitability of any employer or opportunity
- The accuracy of job descriptions or requirements
8.3 Due Diligence
You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence on potential employers and opportunities, including verifying legitimacy and terms of engagement.
9. Termination
9.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account settings.
9.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Provide false information
- Engage in prohibited conduct
- Fail to pay applicable fees
10. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or other applicable Australian consumer protection laws.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
